    This article shows the champion players in social media. Will everyone go to play at the world cup?

    MrPredictions science house discloses the football players ranking with the highest number of followers on social media.

    This is another activity of the laboratory for predictive studies called P2eLab performed by experts from University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, USA).

    The digital ranking is demonstrated by the digital engagement map of the soccer players on the main social medias: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

    This map presents the status on social media of forty soccer players from several countries. The three best placed are occupied by Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) with 323.246.578 followers, Neymar Jr (Brazil) with 194.467.121, and Lionel Messi (Argentina) with 183.567.663.

    Brazil and Spain are the countries with the highest number of players in the list. Each country has seven players. Brazil reaches 383.771.196 adding up the four platforms. Spain gets to the expressive number of 312.532.287, but it is still below Cristiano Ronaldo.

    Among the 40 players with the largest number of followers ten will not go to play the cup in Russia. Gareth Bale (5th) because Wales soccer selection did not qualify, and the swedish Zlatan Ibrahimovic (8th) called.
